Without a doubt, I've argued about Marilyn Manson more than anything else. Probably my most consistently liked artist. I think that one has to become a Marilyn Manson fan at like age fourteen or something and it's impossible to get into the music at a later age. More often than not, I find myself defending my position against industrial-rock giants like TOOL and Nine Inch Nails. It's not that I don't like the bands or their music; I simply find them instantly forgettable and underwhelming. I appreciate the quality of the music, the production values and intricate layerings of tracks, but it's almost TOO good. There's no denying the talent both bands exude, but I swear to God, regardless of how many times I hear Tool of NIN, the only thing that sticks with me are a few fleeting choruses.

TOOL = Progressive/metal/art rock while NIN = Industrial.

However, both TOOL and NIN = boring and unremarkable.

Here's my impression of the average joe six-pack listening (and singing along to TOOL):

Ride? Tarantula? Who? What? Sorry but I have no idea who Ride is and I suspect I am not alone. It certainly piqued my curiosity to see them mentioned alongside the Beach Boys, Steely Dan and Fallout Boy. Either Jason Heller is pulling a sort of record-store clerk finishing move or I have some gaps in my knowledge of pop music. Either way, it's a bit too left-field.

I want to hate on Fallout Boy too, but I would be lying. Saw them a few years back, third-billed at an all-ages show with 12 people in attendance and guess what? They were great. Probably one of the best bands I have seen in that sort of mold. And by far the best I have ever seen by accident. They were exciting and real. They were really working hard and they had pop hooks galore under all that screamy, loud stuff. For my dinero they were everything Fugazi tried to be: tough, fun, exciting - minus the lame, sophomoric political baggage.

Now, bring the hate.

OK, you need to pick up maintenance tools, too.

I actually find weapon degradation in F3 more annoying because there are huge damage, inventory management (combine four suits of armor into one high quality suit), and money making incentives (fill your inventory with high quality suits rather than shit) to maxing your repair skill, and I don't think the minmaxer in me will ever allow me to not max repair. That's 90 points I could have blown on... speech or something.

It was much funnier than I thought it would be. Where every modern comedy ever (except for the blank-movie ones) fill their non-comedy spaces with drama, this one fills non-comedy spaces with shit humor. Dave Foley does full frontal nudity, and it's pretty much reasonably funny, definitely worth a download. If you dislike it you'll dislike it immediately. If you like it you will be pleasantly surprised. It's definitely the kind of game movie he should be. I'd like to see him get Grand Theft Auto next.

You have to force a vote through the console, and otherwise it's a server choice. Do a view game info on someone who's in a versus server, it will mention what difficulty it is and if it's worth playing.
