The Action Button writing style (including the fan imitations like Stefan's) makes all of my fatty alarm bells go off because like a fat person the writing is excessive, lazy, completely self-indulgent and of course too big. Concise writing cares about the reader's time, the impact-per-word ratio and requires discipline and effort. Action Button writers constantly imagine the reader saying "oh, please go on!" like their bellies begging for more dessert, but instead of ice cream, it's a personal anecdote about drinking Coke Zero in a Japanese park. Fingers continuously spilling over the keys as fat rolls spill over belts. Why stop? Why restrain any impulse ever?[/quote]
