The palm reader tells him he's already dead, the chiropractor tells him that only people in purgatory see demons and then tells him again in a voiceover later, and the doctor flat out tells him "you're dead". But yeah, fuck the Sixth Sense. A complete borefest whose sole redeeming feature was that most people didn't see the twist ending coming. Started a trend that tapped the twist ending angle so dry that it's impossible for any movie to have one anymore, even smart ones where it would otherwise work; if Hitchcock were alive today he'd be screwed. Film makers started getting the idea that <a href="http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0309698/">any movie</a>, no matter how <a href="http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0133152/">shitty</a>, can be instantly redeemed by throwing in a twist ending.[/quote]
