That seems like a weird thing to say.

I almost just want to be reassured that "anything is possible!" so that I never need to play it again.
Anything is definitely not possible. Lots of stuff is, and the genius of the game is that it's difficult to do but not so hard that you just give up. Also, the game rewards you in unique ways. Read this wiki entry on cows, for example. Specifically the "Behavior" part. That shit is hilarious. I wrote a paragraph talking about the various ways cows dying can be new and funny but it's better to find this stuff out. Building the ranch was possible because of the fact that if you leave a mine cart in the woods, when you come back some random mob will probably be sitting in it. For awhile my friend and I were sending trains full of farm animals from one base to the other, just for the hell of it. There is a limit to the entertainment value of all of this. But then, the entire game is a jar file for God's sake. The easiest thing in the world is to start changing textures, and there are tools to unobfuscate the code and other tools to help you design objects and mobs. This tool is finally updated for 1.8.1 and I'm pretty excited about it.
