[quote name="Jerry Whorebach"]OutRun Online Arcade is 400 points (50% off). It's supposedly getting delisted next month when SEGA's Ferrari license expires, so if you ever wanted to own it, now's the time. It's a beautiful HD port of OutRun 2 SP, only missing the stages from original OutRun 2 that were in the arcade version (and last-gen ports). I can understand why they weren't included originally, Sumo had to bring it in under 350MB to meet the XBLA guidelines of the time, but why were they never at least made available as DLC? I paid 800 points for the base game and felt like I easily got my money's worth, I would've been happy to pay another 800 for the rest. Sega Rally Online Arcade is also on sale for the same price, though I honestly can't recommend that one. Sure, it looks gorgeous and handles like a dream, but a couple of seriously major flaws rob it of any staying power. First, the leaderboards are all broken, so you can forget about trying to set a good time. And second, the CPU drivers are so blatantly incompetent (even on the hardest difficulty setting (of a whopping TWO difficulty settings)) that you'll beat them every race without ever dropping out of sixth gear. That's the equivalent of defeating the single-player tournament in a fighting game by spamming nothing but roundhouse kicks. Still, it provided the impetus for me to finally track down a copy of 2007's Sega Rally Revo, so I can't say it was a complete waste of money. Sadly, the new Daytona USA port is NOT on sale, so you'll have to pay the entire 800 points if you want the arcade-perfect home conversion we've been waiting eighteen long years for. And you will, because it's bloody fantastic - almost as good as OutRun. The only complaint I can level against it is that karaoke mode doesn't support my Lips microphone. That's okay, Daytona, I'll just sing louder. [youtube id="JwLLwpRfl-8"] <a href="http://xbldb.com/offer-highlights?offer_type=game">Full list of price drops, courtesy of XBLDB.
