Techno-Goth Rihanna - Like a moron I try to kill her over and over with the 10mm pistol. I stunlock her by shooting her in the head 20+ times with the 10mm and it doesn't appear to do shit. Since the only lethal weapon I have besides the 10mm is the heavy rifle, I decide to go with that despite it's totally unmodded. I end up purchasing the first recoil reducing mod because I'm getting so desperate to just be done with this chick. I P.E.P.S her, giving me the opportunity to hit her point blank with like 2 seconds of heavy rifle fire to the head and she dies. Over in 10 seconds, most of that time spent reloading the goddamn P.E.P.S (just put the fucking thing away, I don't want to immediately reload it!!!!!!!) Super Meat Boy - The guy starts dodging and juking like my dad the first time he played DOOM. He literally jumps out of cover, does nothing, jumps back into cover, plows a couple of shots into the wall, jumps out and does nothing, etc. Meanwhile, I'm continuously plugging him in the head with my by-now tricked out heavy rifle. He dies. Fourth boss - I tried to hack the terminals without neutralizing the turrets first for my first couple attempts because no way was I going to be allowed to kill the conveyor belt turrets and be left to hack in peace, right? No, that's exactly what happened. Then I shot some bots and ignored the electrified floor because I had EMP shielding. I guess you can use the laser rifle to pierce the shield and kill the Dragon Lady right off the bat! Between that and the fact that the typhoon practically instagibs the first three bosses, I get the distinct impression the devs realized how shit the boss fights were and intentionally added trivial shortcuts. Anyway, the game was pretty awesome despite the boss fights. Reading Fortinbras rage thread below is perplexing.[/quote]
