But the thing where Jsoh smears my entire gender regularly, in a forum (formerly) with my name on it, is uniquely unpleasant to me. Imagine there was a FOK's Music Forum. FOK's name is right on it. Every post in there is a review of FOK's music: 0/5 stars, this track is for child molestors only. In fact, all music like this music is only for people who legitimately enjoy forcibly penetrating the anuses of boys and girls under the age of six. This is backed up with links to forums where FOK-style music is derided by dozens of posters as the work of genuinely sick people. Of course all these posts are written by obvious dirt-eaters. I guess you could just ignore that, and, indeed, it does not touch you nearly so deeply as the issue of gender touches me - one of only two female posters on the forum, and certainly the most visible and vocal. So I guess that might be okay to you. But if it was not okay to you, how would you go about solving the problem? And - would you or would you not be surprised if, once you had started dealing with it in your own way, everyone else on the forum argued more with your solution than with the posts painting you and yours as kiddy-diddlers? I mean these are all rhetorical points, I already know the answer: yall ain't give a shit about how women are affected by rampant, global, intrusive misogyny penetrating every possible public forum. Not relevant to you! Not a matter worthy of your concern! Easier to just have a forum without any women on it than to deal with the Jsohs of the world in <i>literally any other way</i>. Cries of CENSORSHIP flow freely and still nobody tells the dirt-eater to cut it out, much less deletes any of his posts. And in the end the only person censored is me and my pics of happy dicks because you want to read Caltrops at work, which trumps me wanting to read Caltrops at all. Personally, I would have left it at getting my name taken off the forum. But MM has to whine and bitch about that, too, like I'm somehow obligated to keep taking one for the team because of some hoary orthodoxy he holds dear.
