MEMES and YOU

They're a shitty outcome of remix culture and you're hitting them with Dawkins mixed with terrible application of the phrase 'intelligent design.' You must be drinking before noon again if you're trying to pass that off as a discrete unit of information.
Again, not making any sense. MM pointed out that popular (in both the numeric and product-meant-for-mass-appeal sense) memes are exactly as successful as they should be based on natural selection. Anyone saying a meme is overrated as an objective statement of fact doesn't know what a meme is, doubly so if they cite them dropping off in usage as a supporting argument. An unpopular meme dying off is inherent to its nature - pointing this out is worthless.
Better to consider what will be to the meme-set we currently exist in as the phenome is to the genome.
Terribly phrased, but interesting. I'll take a stab: Meme: White people are great Past expressions: 6 million dead jews Current expressions: A culture of achievement; border patrol checkpoints legally covering 90% of the US population Meme: Jews are great Past expressions: A culture of achievement Current expressions: Palestinian oppression Meme: "You get B? Why you no good at math?" Past expressions: Abacus Current expressions: Asian mathematic superiority; slight increase in teen suicide Conclusion: Negative reinforcement > positive reinforcement -/ES/-
