I believe tomorrow is the last day for this sale.
Sega's usually pretty good about marking down their games, though, so don't freak out if you miss it. There'll be another one! Probably around Christmas. Anyway, here's what I bought: Guardian Heroes (160 MSP) Jet Set Radio (400 MSP) NiGHTS into Dreams... (400 MSP) Sonic CD (160 MSP) Four formerly hard-to-find cult classics for failed Sega platforms (was there any other kind?) for $14, or substantially less than $14 if you took advantage of that $10 off coupon from the Microsoft store to buy $15 points cards for $5 each. I already had Daytona USA (400 MSP this week, but I paid 800 for it at launch and don't regret a penny of it - especially since I used free points from a German mobile phone promo) and the disc release of Virtua Fighter 5 (which I found new at EB Games a few months ago for $0.99, and poured enough time into to earn all 1000/1000 Achievements (which apparently involved winning over 1000 matches... it honestly didn't seem like that many)). What a great time to be a broke-ass motherfucker with an Xbox 360! It's only too bad the next Xbox won't be backwards compatible with this amazing library, or I'd already have it on pre-order. I have to think Microsoft missed a trick there - they could've easily "locked in" their best customers, suckers like me who are already perfectly content with the huge number of 360 games they own, but would probably end up spending far too much on shiny launch titles ANYWAY if they only had the opportunity. Now that I know I'm going to have to keep a working 360 plugged in regardless, I'm free to compare the Xbox One and PlayStation 4 (and, um, Wii U) purely on their own merits, and I have to say: it's not looking good for Microsoft :( The Xbox One, like the PlayStation One before it, just doesn't have enough processors to run NiGHTS.
