The FF and McIntosh tweets never referred to the demon as a person so who the fuck knows why it's in quotations. The closest I see is "It’s really troubling (and depressing) that the #BE3 audience is enthusiastically cheering for bodies being ripped apart." You can be troubled by non-human bodies ripped apart, like the thousands of angry Tweets if this was a kitten. Second of all, neither argued that using a chainsaw was unique to Doom. There's no expiration date on criticism. AND I LIKE USING CHAINSAWS IN GAMES! The obvious rebuttal is that if Doom 4 is as fun as Doom 3, everyone will think hacking people apart with chainsaws is really boring so nobody will do it. You can tell he's so proud of this shit too.
