They couldn't even cut to a screaming hooker covered in comical gore? Hell, I'm surprised they showed blood at all over pussying out on the motorcycle kill. Business guy goes into airport bathroom. The PA announces boarding on a flight to Dublin. Business guy checks his boarding pass to show that it is to Dublin, just in case the audience does not get it. He then ducks into a stall and talks on a phone about how he's the "only one left" and is about to get on a plane to Ireland, just in case the audience still does not get it. Punisher walks into the stall. Another bloodless kill. Not even any brutality to it. Chokes guy with tie, walk away. Joke from other guy in the restroom mistaking them for having gay sex in the stall, which might have been funny if they chose any one of a dozen more effective ways to shoot and edit the joke. Punisher is "done". Burns clothes. Frank now works construction, hammering a wall all day. Construction worker bullies call him a retard. Bullies call him more mean names, step on and ruin his peanut butter and jelly sandwich. This feels like the setup to some over the top scene like the Russian fight or wacky neighbors from the Thomas Jane version, but it's meant to be completely serious here. New guy in the bullies' group walks up to Frank later, apologizes and offers his sandwich. Offers to be friends. That is the first 15 minutes of a show allegedly about the Punisher. Bloodless deaths, cutting away from the kills, and bullies stepping on PB&J sandwiches.[/quote]
