Re: I did, but I don't remember.

I was going to ask, did anyone read Long Dark Teatime of the Soul and wonder if a certain scene was inspired by it? There's a fantastic "restrain Thor" gag in that book they could have used but didn't, and I'm sad.
Please tell me! My review - this is really entertaining and fun. I can't believe I cared about Thor. ICJ
In that book, Odin was living in a retirement home (by choice) and sleeping all day on freshly laundered linen. But the scene that made me laugh most was this: "The big man awoke [they had managed to knock him out] and tried to look up, but could hardly raise his head. He tried to sit up but couldn't do that either. He felt as if he'd been stuck to the floor with superglue and after a few seconds he discovered the most astounding reason for this." Then he used his hammer to break the foor up around him. I want you to imagine Chris Hemsworth furiously walking (with difficulty) around new york or someplace with floorboards glued to his back and the backs of his legs and arms and head.
