The pleasure is in learning all this stuff for me. It makes me feel alive. The last couple of years there's been lots of learning for me with JavaScript and photography. I like where I am with both of those. So the fun for me is reading a question you wrote, doing the information gathering to understand it and coming up with a plan. This morning I tried to answer the question, "What's the most basic way to have sound on the MIDI keybarf show up in Windows?" I learned that Audacity can't do it. I was directed towards a free version of "Pro Tools." It's a 2GB download. Ultimately I think I do want physical synths. That sounds awesome.
