Are we doing this? Is this a thing?
MM is absolutely correct... you should not go into a strange building in the dark because some random chick suggests it. Don't be "Florida man." Even if does mean Caltrops will miss out on some potential gonzo content. I also had a lot of trouble meeting women when I was younger. My college had a terrible gender ratio, and I never got invited to the cool parties. So I was left with what you might call the "Seinfeld" methods of meeting women. Going to bars. Taking classes that I thought women might like to take. Trying to talk to people I met by chance in public places. None of that worked, of course. So I started looking towards online dating. It was pretty rough back then -- there was a stigma attached to it back then. But you could reliably get a date or two a month, and see where it went from there. Over time I learned that it doesn't really matter how much effort you put in-- beyond a certain point. People either like you or not. I'm not saying you should be a jerk or something. But just recognize that there are no "cheat codes" for getting women to like you. One thing that you absolutely should do is improve your personal hygiene. Women just have a much higher standard for hygiene, smells, and cleanliness than men. Your bachelor pad bathroom probably looks fine to you. To a woman, it looks like the nastiest truck stop bathroom you can imagine. This is just... something you have to know. I had to learn it for myself since Hollywood and the books I had read had glossed over this part. Set yourself a target of going on a date every month or two. You will have to send a lot of messages online. Probably at least a dozen for every response you get. And just... go, and have dinner with people. It gets easier over time.
