They could have accomplished the same thing by giving her some kind of more subtle tell like tugging at her sleeve when she tells a lie. But that would have required subtlety. Also, even if you wanted to disinherit your kids, wouldn't you at least set up a trust to pay your grandchildren's college expenses? And come to think of it, wouldn't you be doing that rather than hand-writing a check every month? There are tax breaks for this shit. This is like upper-middle class finance 101. I'm sure there's a lot of other plot holes, but I ran out of steam there. This movie just makes me want to watch something better with a real classic detective like Poirot or Adrian Monk. It's like drinking RC Cola. It just makes you want to drink the real thing.[/quote]
