Rodents that are desperate will gorge on it and die, but the others are careful and will only eat a little bit at a time. You'll see the poison on their droppings. I like the metal traps with serrated edges. That along with the scented glue pads does the trick. Create little obstacle courses and puzzles. If anything is still moving, then go for the pellet gun. The retriever was a good hunter in her day, but now at 16(!) she's mostly done with that. Though she <i>did</i> take flight after a raccoon not too long ago, so I will still say Good Girl. [/quote]
