Re: More "Why? Because Stellaris"

Hive Mind race trait Crime is a thing now. Did we need this? Citizens generally are much more like Stellaris. Scanning anomalies looks exactly like Stellaris. Infinite range probes look and behave just like Stellaris, although the stellar systems remain GC-like. (Interestingly, the original GC seems to have had much more Stellaris-y stellar systems back in the day.) BUT I am interested in the (coming soonish) new combat mechanics
The look and feel of civs generally. You now have the double characteristic concept, like in Stellaris you'd have Xenophobic Exterminators or whatever. This randomly generated one in GC4: SN is "traditionalist totalitarians" with the behavior "Xenophobic". I dunno what to think about this mimicry. I doubt any of you JUST PLAY STELLARIS assholes will give a shit, and it vaguely irritates me, a die hard GC fan. Oh well. Side note: I'm not having a ton of luck with AlienGPT (the chatgpt civ generator) here. I tried to get it to make the Moties from the Larry Niven and Jerry Pournelle books, but three attempts yielded "Failed to Generate". I kinda gave up and just entered "hot chicks in space" and it's taking forever. Maybe it found something good and has to rub one out before it can get back to me.
