Liminalcore
Liminalcore is a walking simulator that focuses mostly on the poolrooms, but which also has some "kids play area" themed areas. (Side note: I recently found that the guy most associated with the poolrooms aesthetic is Jared Pike.) It has a lot of the same strengths and weaknesses of Pools. I even feel like they borrowed some common aesthetic things like the giant statues. Still, I enjoyed that game, and I enjoyed this one too. Pools had just a little more to do, which probably makes it slightly better. The last level in this game is a little more spooky ooky, which you might like (or maybe not). A game like this is all about the imagery, and I feel like it shines in that area. The worst part is that it's relatively short. I beat it in 2 hours. The best part is the slight non-linearity, where you can take a few different paths to get where you're going. I feel like that adds to the feeling of being in a large world.
