You pick a hero for a run and each one has a different bonus to specialize in a certain style, but anyone could have anything. There is meta-unlocking. The additional heroes don't take TOO much grinding. There are straight up stat upgrades, but they're minor and there's a cap on how much you can carry on a run anyway. My first session I ended up playing for an hour and a half straight. Unlocking 3 of the dozen additional heroes. I'll be screwing around with it more. Probably get bored in around 10-15 hours, but definitely worth $3-5 You might want to skip straight to the sequel which has better animations and probably more stuff. $9, on sale for $7 right now.[/quote]
