Re: Peter Arnett goes Anti-USA (again)?

Well it's obvious "the plan" didn't work, otherwise the U.S. Generals wouldn't critizise Rumsfeld and otherwise the US wouldn't need 100k more soldiers. Unless of course I am confused by german propaganda again. Dammit. :(
We need another 100K soldiers because all the other ones are dead from the vicious asskicking the Iraqi jaggarnaut is perpetrating. Issue Arnett my personal apology. Haha, enough sarcasm. You are speaking to battlefield conditions. No plan accounts for things like: the Iraqis' are reluctant to be liberated, carpet bombing and immolation are not optional. We need the men to prosecute a war that accounts to the position that the iraqi populace is fighting under extreme duress and we need to be far more humanitarian about the (heh heh) "liberation." The Plan, as I see it has shut down any coordinated iraqi response, forced them into extreme asymmetrical warfare in less then nine days and coalition ground forces moved 200 miles in 3 days. Although all dead soldiers are a tragedy, we have suffered relatively few despite the "ferocity" of the opposition. The Plan does not sound like a complete cluster fuck. The region hates us with a new and frightening passion. We have yet to show that we are anything other then ugly-American invaders. That is the enormous failure of policy. The War Plan (as Arnett framed it) is sound.
