No, you're not

...that thought the new matrix was better than the first? 'Cuz I thought the new one was pretty okay, but I didn't really like the first one at all. I couldn't figure out the hype: "Can you believe that the new Matrix is almost here! Aren't you excited?" "No: it's the fucking Matrix. Are we talking about the same movie? The one with Keanu Reeves?" In all honesty I've seen the original Matrix 1.5 times, and that was plenty. Matrix: Reloaded was better than The Matrix, for one simple reason: it had fewer examples of Keanu Reeves attempts at "acting"... though it got some serious demerits in the acting department from the fatty that ate Larry Fishburne. But anyways, I thought the action scenes were pretty good, more memorable than the ones in the first, and I came away thinking it was a decent movie, which is a lot more than I can say for the first one, which was a disappointment from the get-go. FoK P.S. I thought the first Terminator was way better than T2 as well. I am, for some reason, frequently at right angles from the norm on these things. IT IS PROBABLY BECAUSE I AM PUNK AS FUCK.
T2: awful, terrible, horrible film. A complete rape of everything great about the original, as well as a giant arrow pointing to every film in Mr. Cameron's career following. The minute he started thinking that he could think about stuff, he went from "skilled craftsmen" to "useless idiot." I hated the Matrix 2 as much as I did the Matrix 1. Does that make it worse or better?
