Re: Ok I just got this

Made a scout character "tired" on that server ryvar mentioned. Won't let me start in that city, though, forced me to a less-populated village to the south. There's some zone lag when you run around, but it's not bad. When you click on something, though...long load times. Takes 3 minutes to exit the game. It's a bitch to collect stuff, since you can't sell it, so the simplest things (leveling, getting some money, buying a better weapon) all take 3-4 more steps than they do in other games. Also, healing requires 3 steps...what do you do for healing if there aren't any entertainers or medics around? You're screwed. Well I'll mess around with it all weekend so if you-all are around let me know. /jeep/
I haven't really had too much trouble with lag, although my buddy has had nothing but. The exiting thing does piss me off. I'm not sure if you can sell the stuff you Forage for, but the Harvested stuff (bone and hide especially) sells well. After you kill an animal just pull up the radial menu on the corpse and hit harvest. It usually sells for about 4-8 credits per unit. just set the price based on the quality of the stuff, as well as how much is for sale at what price current;ly at the bazaar. Selling in units of 100 usually pretty good. Crafters need bone and hide, and medics and chefs I think need meat. Or just give it to SB to make some armor for you. For healing, if you set up a camp, your wounds (the black area) will heal slowly as you sit in it. And you get Wilderness Surival XP just for sitting there. Experience your own Star Wars epic saga! Just sitting in the medic center will heal you as well even if there are no medics around. But the only way to get rid of Combat Fatigue that I know of is going to the godamned cantinas. On the other hand, I've found that those are the best place to get training. Just ask around there for the skill you are looking for, and people will gladly teach you.
