Re: Junk

Also note I said "Electricity is the last fucking thing we should worry about" which means that of all our problems, I don't even want to hear about that one until some other ones are solved. For example, you can put "(1) convert coal plants to natural gas plants" at the very top of the list of things to worry about, followed by "(2) erect one million windmills". I still want to see "(825) People should use less electricity" at the very bottom, and certainly after robot hookers.
What the fuck are you even on about? Hello, you're living in the aftermath of a giant blackout with a tenuous power grid, and you're pissed off that you can't use your computer, your A/C, your laundry machine and all the lights in your house at once? I don't recall them making this demand that often. As far as points 1 and 2 on the list of Fucking Things We Should Worry About go, who's funding those? I'm sure all the guys complaining about not being able to use the A/C are going to also be happy to be taxed for windmills? As it stands right now, you're not even paying the full cost of the power you use, what with the rate cap instituted by the Eves government. Now, if your argument is that "those idiots at Queen's Park fucked my shit up, I can't use my A/C", I'm okay with that.
We'll be switching to 100% clean generation when you start driving your fuel cell-powered Toyota Pri(ap)us, model year 2035.
Is nuclear counted as 100% clean? The Kyoto accord fought for us... and lost. ;_;
Maybe I should have said model year <strike>2150</strike>never, to make it clear that I wasn't referring to our current nuclear plants as clean, but that the odds of us having that kind of clean power generation in our lifetime seem pretty high. The point was that you implied that using electricity was somehow less polluting than driving your car, when it clearly isn't at the moment.
