I came up with a better ending to that movie in my sleep. Don't mention that the fort was destroyed, make it so that the entire point of escape is to get to the believed safety of the fort. Have the last van make it to the fort (switch to first person camcorder if you must, though it's entirely optional). Have them spot a lone soldier with his back turned to them. Yell out to him. Soldier turns and is a zombie. Screams and points finger towards them in a Donald Sutherland Body Snatchers pose. Suddenly a swarn of zombies (some in military, some in civilain garb) pour out of an entrance way behind the soldier zombie and rush towards the camera. Hear gunshots as the heroes start firing. Cut to black when the horde gets close. Fade in to two human soldiers barricaded up in a guard tower. Both are scruffy and it's obviously they've been there a long time. One is peering through the scope of his rilfe at shuffling zombies below while the other is looking through binoculars. The spotter shouts "Louis Gossip Jr!" and the sniper scope stops on the back of a bald black head. The head turns around to show the zombified black cop right before cutting to black and we hear a single gunshot. Roll credits.[/quote]
