The Broncos used to be lovable losers and Denver fans were okay with that for a long long time -- but mostly back before I was born. The fans chanted "we love you Broncos" in the waning moments of the Dallas Super Bowl game (I was three). So then we became lovable Super Bowl losers, although actually the heartbreak of just not showing up to the game against the 49ers caused the local news to run hotlines for psychologists. But now that we're winners, there's no way in HELL anyone wants to go back to that. Losing is now totally unacceptable. So I guess I'm spoiled, after a fashion. P.S.
