Everyone seems to have forgotten that they already tried serious Dante and we ended up with Devil May Cry 2.[/quote] I've only played 1 and 3, so I can't speak for 2, but in both of them I found the storyline eminently forgettable and the cutscenes best skipped apart from the visuals. The third is just unusual because it seemed that they were trying so hard to be all Excel Saga and not being halfway funny. Some were alright, but I just felt embarrassed for them even when I played by myself. The double gun scene was just too gay..[/quote]
