Yet all defense systems on all 12 worlds, along with all military spacecraft, have a common password.[/quote] Maybe I have read too much sci-fi, or maybe because I know too much real sci, but I did a little mental legwork when I saw this and assumed that it was some kind of access scheme, like the details of the encryption for instance, and not a single password, that Baltar betrayed. Perhaps their bombs don't work on the same principles ours do? I don't remember him mentioning he wanted plutonium at any point, only that he needed the warhead. Seemed plausible to me to think that the warhead had something else in it that was useful to <i>the only superscientist left on the fleet</i>. [/quote]
