[/quote] This part you typed here made me really sad, because I hadn't considered this, and I still don't want to believe it, but I fear it's right because you're right about most of the other things you've typed. I purposefully stopped coming down on other Caltrops people a long while ago, because the war had been won. So now your concept here, combined with my large internet ego <i>does</i> allow me to believe that people have posted Fussbettianly, in the same way that I post Wolpawesque. Each generation getting a little worse, thinking that they can impress the person they're ripping off. That bums me out, man. [/quote] This is a good idea. Not because AIM logs are so great (they're not) but it's a unique schtick as you said. As for the rest of your ideas and comments, the problems all stem from not having a unifying driving force behind the site. This was a problem at the beginning too, even when we had 20 people running the place: no unique ideas could get rolling because <i>someone</i> would disagree. The only thing we could agree on was that we all liked OMM. Hell, if you picked a wacky background colour, people went mental. As good as ICJ is at hosting and maintaining and not deleting the forum, he's got no time to actually foster a content website. Someone with time and energy needs to spruce the place up and add regular content. Regular content is all you need. It doesn't have to be good. Have you seen the internet? Just post a new picture of Paris Hilton to the front page every day. Also: Ray of Light always wants your AIM name. He also probably wants to kiss you![/quote]
