Creed takes elements that could broadly be ascribed to a Pearl Jam influence (guy with a deep voice who slurs) and then creates synthetic pop rock built around Christian themes. That's about as distant from what Pearl Jam does as you could get and still be within spitting distance of the same genre. I guess you hate the Dead Kennedys for Blink 182 and David Bowie for, well, everything as well, right? But then, that comparison probably means nothing to you. I can't begin to understand a frame of reference where you can even pretend to take Bobby Brown seriously as a musician, except to indicate that everything that follows is the opposite of the truth.
