I did not get teary eyed over the idea, although I did rescue every little sister because Jso was going to see what the alternative was. The alternative is you don't get like 100 sweet sweet delicious gaemurpoint achievement points. So the game is clearly judging anyone who does not rescue every last one of them. Excluding the annoying ass bitches who get themselves killed when you are supposed to be escorting them through the special little sister doorways near the end. Although there was one single part of the game I had an emotional reaction to, and that's the part where Andrew Ryan uses your brainwashing to make you kill him. It was kind of dumb on his part but the scene itself I thought was pretty creepy and bizarre. The actual code word stuff was just surprising to me, but when it's actually used to make you kill someone without your control, I thought that was a pretty good scene. Why didn't they just say, "don't come back until you have all the parts."</li></ul>[/quote] I also did that with the big daddies, and I went back to one of those stairways where I knew I killed one and of course it was gone. It didn't even leave a lockbox like most of the enemies do. I didn't care about respawns, because they were nothing I couldn't handle, and I was always having the same problem that the bad guy from The Last Boyscout had (my gun had too many bullets in it). I like that enemies for the most part don't drop a whole fuckin clip of ammo but just tiny portions of them (like 1 to 5 bullets per kill). I sort of new that but then I was like, I'd rather just shoot them all myself anyway, I have so many turrets and bots hacked all over the damn place. Also, that's the same problem those dumb static field tonics have, if you get hit while standing too close to a big daddy you'll agor it. But it's pretty cool that they do give some good options for people who want to melee fight the whole game. They definitely made it viable. Going to replay it again without harvesting this time.[/quote] The shotgun does so much less damage in the later levels, but the fire rate upgrade for it makes up for the lack in power because you can empty all 4 shells in about a second since the upgrade lets you gun hammer it so you can fuck up everybody. The electricity shells against big daddies could knock down about half their health if you hit them with all 4, which is easy since it stuns them too. I would consider playing the game again, but I don't know if I want to go around scavenging for the billions of tiny secret little side areas they have. But since I know the whole game that probably wouldn't even take half as long.[/quote]
