The other mods should be set up to automatically reference the MediaVPs. Select Run! (And don't forget to set up your joystick and turn off the robot voices as needed). If you don't want to fuck around with the installer and want to manually install (And make sure you have the latest stuff, as of this posting), here's what you need: 1) Do a full install of Freespace 2 with high resolution textures. You can also manually extract the MVE files to the Freespace 2 folder. SCP may get grumpy if Freespace 2 isn't installed to the default c:\games\freespace 2. 2) Download <A HREF="http://www.hard-light.net/forums/index.php/topic,50258.0.html" TARGET="new">The SCP files</A>. 3) Download <A HREF="http://www.hard-light.net/forums/index.php/topic,52691.0.html" TARGET="new">The Launcher</A>. 4) Download all of <A HREF="http://www.hard-light.net/forums/index.php/topic,51229.0.html">The Media VPs</A>. (If you have an old computer, skip MV_AdvancedEffects.) 5) Unzip the SCP files and the launcher and dump them all directly into the Freespace 2 folder. 6) Create a folder in Freespace 2 called MediaVPs. Unzip and dump all the media vp files into there. 7) Follow the steps above. Have fun![/quote]
