The most important part of the sexy, serious Eastern European voice is their inability to contract verbs. It makes them sound so sure of themselves and formal. We were warned about it at teaching school, but how much better does "I am good" sound than "I'm good"? Yet, if I reply, "I am good" when someone asks me how I'm doing, I sound like a ponce. Eastern Europeans get away with it, though. So beautiful.
