The best you could do was whine about it being uninsightful or nonsensical coming at it from an incomplete understanding, as you admitted to. Nevermind that Bateau and Kusanagi are Neuromancer's Molly split in two and a bit of Jun Kusanagi [NWS] thrown in, nevermind that where a decent futurcop-narrative should exist its felled by Shirow's incapable pacing. Lacking is your criticism of any urgency to any of the characters' actions, because that requisite background story is largely assumed from reading the Manga. Hey, why even complain about the inconsistencies in the rendering of Motoko's sex doll body between scenes in the very same episode, when you can be worm and watch two tiny sections of it and spout off like you know what the fuck you're talking about. Make surface criticisms, and people question your insight, not the author's.
