I bought Patrician III just to see if my advice was well-founded by Fortinbras 08/07/2009, 1:19am PDT It's pretty good for a ten buck purchase! I think the key thing you have to curb is your instinct to buy up ALL the stock in a town, because this game runs on the marginal utility theory of value. As you buy up stock and get closer to completely depleting it, the prices get more expensive. So if you're a retard like me and load your ship down with as much shit as you can buy and come back home, even though technically you're selling per-unit more than you bought it for per-unit, that extra load kills you and makes you wind up 2,000 bucks short on the return trip.
