And find out whether it's adult good or just kid good! I loved it at the time, anyway.
I played through Castlevania III recently and finished it for the first time ever. That game is still good!
Also I tried Ninja Gaiden which I think I finished once but I might have cheated with some password or a Game Genie or something. And this time I did not like it! It feels like Castlevania, except you can move much more easily so there's less challenge. Or like Contra, except you have a life bar so there's less challenge. A sloppy game! I'm sure it gets much harder toward the end but still the beginning is awfully bland and I may not ever try it again.
Bubble Bobble, on the other hand, has more depth than I ever consciously noticed as a kid, and is awesome. I have been playing it constantly. |
