This actually reminds me of an accident at a local theme park a couple years ago. Some kid evaded his parents, scaled a chainlink fence to a roller coaster, and wham, kiddy burger. In the media it was presented as the theme park's scandalous lack of safety, the child's mother explaining that she only looked away for a second. Funnily, she didn't look too upset in the pictures in the newspapers... then I found a pic of the kid: fucking Down syndrome. CASE CLOSED. 8( The story fizzled out and was never heard of again. |
