in 2142 you could easily rank up by getting badges, but these would involve some pretty convoluted shit like getting 500 lifetime hours of commander play time or some wacky and unrealistic shit. the demands in bc2 are much much easier and better, some of them might take a few weeks or a month of continuous playing but I actually already got the "200 squad spawns" badge YESTERDAY (earlier today) and that is of course due to the vastly improved teamplay interfaces. instead of the commo rose you now just get a universal context sensitive hotkey for directing people around, spotting enemies, and requesting for aid. |
