Looking at the huge stack of opened and unopened 360 games in my closet, the only one with anything approaching destructible terrain is Earth Defense Force 2017, which also happens to be basically a 3rd-person shooter version of X-Com and a (legitimately, you can tell by all the mediocre reviews from the enthusiast press) great game besides. Entire city blocks collapse at the slightest provocation and playing it makes you feel whatever the opposite of Mass Effect is - engaged maybe? - and I'm not sure there isn't a connection in there somewhere.

I'm going to make a few hundred bucks this week whether I do anything or not, that's the beauty of welfare. In fact any money I do earn has to be declared so they can take it out of my cheque, which I think is supposed to encourage me to act selflessly at all times - step one in becoming a perfect retard messiah like Forrest Gump. Step two is talking to people on park benches and coffee shops and brightening their day with simple homespun wisdom, step three is ping pong, and step four is fathering a child with a flighty girl who has AIDS. I'm looking forward to the ping pong.
