Megatron does not transform into anything I recognize.
you see because the game takes place on cybertron the decepticons have not yet come to earth where they needed to transform into things like pistols so while on cybertron megatron is still in his normal form oh god i'm dying
That's fine.
I continued the Decepticon campaign. Gameplay consists of going from location to identical location, shooting nobodies at intervals, with characters that look and sound different from what the franchise is about. Oh, and going to a kiosk and hitting "e." Why am I playing this?
I switched over to the Autobot side. Your three selectable characters are Optimus, Bumblebee and Ratchet. Ratchet. The doctor. Here's why I'm leaning towards declaring the game a piece of shit even though the art direction is amazing - before the first Autobot mission really starts, you're in a base or something getting intel from Jetfire. You can wander around a little. Autobots are looking at tv screens and moving energon around. There are roughly, what, 200 characters over the various incarnations of the show and comic? 500? Populating this base? Generic robots. They couldn't have a modeler take a day per Autobot and fill that with... I don't know, Windcharger or somebody?
Why am I bothering with this? Why would anyone bother with this?
