this is a very accurate review, so I won't quote any of it to spoil it's greatness
so here's some comments
"Can you blow me where the pampers is?"
I didn't like the movie because of the anti-conservative crap mentioned above, but it did have its moment. We still use the "don't be that guy" line, and leftist hypocrisy always rates an exclamation of "Frisbee!"
This movie has long been a guilty pleasure. And I always chose to see Balls and Shaft as representative of country-club, blue-blood republicans rather than red-blooded American conservatives. (Think Bush vs. Reagan)
they weren't able to damn all conservatives, only the blue-blooded, country-club, anti-populist types who fit their mental image of Republicans.
Incidentally, there really are "conservatives" like that -- the same idiots who throw glamorous uber-retro parties themed after the Roaring Twenties because they read The Great Gatsby and completely misunderstood it. And they are the bad guys in real life -- they have spent the last fifty years yanking the Republican Party to the left |
