It's a genuinely scary horror game that doesn't frustrate you. There's no combat, and the save system is an inspired piece of work that ensures that you're not going to run into loops of dying/retrying/dying to the same monstrosity. It's not perfect; you can nitpick the bluntness of the sanity system or the banality of the resource management aspect, but this is the sort of game that could only be made on the PC and that exhibits the kind of unflinching focus that shows just how much the developers love their genre. It's relatively lengthy and, for the most part, expertly paced. It's also 20 bucks. Buy it if you like horror.
