You mean taking the stupidest part of Halo's plot (The flood are so insanely dangerous that the only way we could defeat them was to create a doomsday weapon that would wipe out all life in the galaxy, but nevertheless we kept several live specimens of the flood onboard every single one of these doomsday devices for "study") and made it so the Covenant worshiped the doomsday devices like the cult in "Beneath the Planet of the Apes?"
