Every possible scandal that could be played against Democratic candidate for WI governor, Tom Barret (he's *gasp!* making coalitions with the labor unions!), was brought forth in the news with the most urgent tone during the election.
Only now, after electing Scott Walker governor, a college dropout who opposes light rail (not to mention the stem cell research and attendant industries developed by scientists at UW Madison) does the media finally bring up the many jobs that will be lost thanks to Walker (and the new republican majority in the state senate) putting the kibosh on that plan. The road builders are one of the biggest spending lobbies in WI, in case you were wondering why. |
