I got an upper respiratory infection for the first time since my surgery. That was two weeks ago, and they told me that if I didn't have a fever or if I didn't feel too bad, I was probably fine. We drew blood anyway, and I seem to be fine. I got sick REALLY fast, which I assume is because my immune system is suppressed. And that worried me. But I got better in only three days or so, and my immune system stopped at defeating the infection without trying to murderate my new liver. So what's not to love? |
