Gaming Friendly Antivirus? by Mischief Maker 05/20/2011, 3:33pm PDT
I've been using Symantec for the longest time on my machine and lately it's getting obnoxious. Every time there's a song change or a new monster appears, the machine stops for a splitsecond to ponder this turn of events. I already have auto-protect set to "only scan on create."

Are there better alternative antivirus programs that have less of a gaming footprint? SKO freeware opensource antivirus equivalent to Spybot S&D, possibly?
