You're a soldier wearing a nanobot suit that gives you limited 'superpowers'. You can turn invisible, gain an armor bonus, jump pretty high, or kick things ala Bulletstorm. Each action uses some energy which recharges over time. The story is that there's a mysterious alien outbreak of aliens (what can be behind all this mayhem? people wonder while attack choppers chase alien spaceships through Manhattan).
It's an adequate game, technically. No bugs, the buttons all work. It's just damn boring. The first 15 minutes (at least) is a cutscene and you have no gun and very little to do except follow NPCs from cutscene to cutscene. Then, for at least the next hour you just fight PMC stormtroopers who pose zero threat. Then there's a boring sewer level. Then some exciting aliens show up and you get to........ watch a cutscene. The environment looks cool but is boring. It's a boring game.
