That's terrible. I'm just a couple episodes in and I already hate her , and not the dramatically effective kind of hate either.
Whenever her and her stupid sister are in a scene the show suddenly turns into a goddamn cartoon* as they fulfill the same role as poor Annette Bening in American Beauty. Why is Marie's kleptomania getting nearly as much time as Walt & Jesse's drug deals? So her insanity can explain why a medical doctor (radiology technician?) freaks out so much over marijuana being addictive?
* Though so was Walt's magical (highly toxic, bare handed handled) mercury blasting cap that was strong enough to blow out the windows of an entire floor (uh huh) but left him the only unfazed person in the room. It also would have made for a better scene if he slammed the bag when he got back to the car, to reveal that it was a bluff and he only had that one cap (otherwise how did the rest of the bag not go off?).
The pilot episode's poison RV gas was just the right amount of flashy and believable. More of that, guys. |
