has there ever been a good piece of fiction written about playing d&d? by august and everything after 10/01/2011, 6:48am PDT i mean i know there was a wave of gygax-ploitation pieces in the 80s about the satanic dangers of d&d and the tragical history of dallas egbert. but has there ever been a piece of fiction written about a d&d clique that examines, in all its beauty and sadness (and nabokov said art is beauty plus pity), the in-fighting, the tragic yearning for unattainable nerdgrrrls, backroom deals cut by the players with their dm about advancement and artifacts....anything like that? that is something i would love to read.
