When I was a teen, I had a best time of 230-ish and bragged to someone about it, and that someone told me that mutual friend X, who was on vacation for three more days, could go under 200 on the regular.
It took two days of nonstop play to break 200, which I improved to low 190s (or maybe high 180s?) on the third day. As you've guessed by now, X was not even good at minesweeper and had accomplished nothing of the sort. How was this supposed to make me feel? |
