Renegade Ops: DNF/vaporware edition
I was fine until this. I just kept on smilin while this game was delayed again and again. I kept my faith in Avalanche and SEGA in the face of unnecessary delays. I mean after all, they were able to churn out Renegade Ops for the little kids toys known as the consoles, so a PC version from the team that brought us the best made PC game of the last few years, Just Cause 2, shouldn't have been an issue.

However, here we sit, and Renegade Ops is now starting to look like Duke Nukem Forever looked a few years ago. The PC version is now vaporware, IMO. I don't believe this game will come out in October, in fact I'm guessing they may just cancel it altogether. I think at this point Avalanche and SEGA are just messing with us and having a good chuckle at us PC gamers while they play around with their plastic toy kiddie consoles, jumping around in front of their "big brother" Kinect cameras.

I am truly insulted by this delay. I will NEVER pre-purchase another game on Steam because of this. I will NEVER buy another game from Avalanche, despite the huge respect I had for them before this debacle. And SEGA? I've been P.O'd with them for nearly a decade as I sit waiting for Shenmue 3, so this just pushed it over the edge. I should have known better than to buy a game SEGA had anything to do with. They are the dumbest company on earth, they're sitting on a huge pile of IP's like Shenmue and they refuse to do anything with them and instead keep churning out Sonic games like a bunch of drooling morons.

I'm saying it now; we are not ever getting this game. It's just a big joke on us PC gamers.


This game has officially crawled in a corner
Well, with these delays, there is no point. This game is dieing, beyond return. If it releases after bw3 (and several other games), its taking its biggest blow. Meanwhile with all these delays, people get bored and forget about it.


REFUND PLEASE
3 missed release dates is not that big a concern of mine, as it happens commonly with complex software titles.

BUT, waiting until the ABSOLUTE LAST MINUTE to inform people who are looking forward to their new game when they get off work/school/staying up to try it out before bed, is inexcusable.

Each time they have acted in this manner and not informed their customers of this delay in advance, and I'm sorry, I cannot support companies that conduct themselves in such an unprofessional manner.

I will be requesting my refund immediately, and I will not be looking back to Sega or the publisher for titles in the future.

You are losing customers and support due to your negligence.


Another Refund. I gave it 4 chances.
4 chances to release the game, but more so to tell us whats going on and give us more than the last 15 minutes of the release time.

If the game wasn't 15$ and it was 30, or 50, I would of refunded after the 2nd time.

Now I'm just refunding out of annoyance, I don't even care about the money.... it's CHUNK change.

Thats where I'm directing my hate right now. Shame on you Sega x3. Maybe leave an angry comment there too. If anyone else can think of a way to get these guys to respond, I'm all ears.

done buying sega games.
sega has already alienated pc gamers in the past and labeled us all as pirates that don't deserve same day releases as consoles. now they are continuing to wait until the last second to push back their release date.

By the time this game does release, there will be such a small community and the multiplayer will be absolutely pathetic (an early october release would have secured a thriving community).

From now on, I pass on SEGA games no matter who the developer or what the game is.
